In an amended F-1 filed yesterday with the SEC Baidu.com (ticker: BIDU) released preliminary earnings results for Q2 2005. Details:


Preliminary Results for Q2 2005
(all percentage changes and comparisons are sequential and all figures approximations)

  • Total revenue rose 52.5% to $8.4 million.
  • Operating income rose 344.4% to $1.4 million.
  • Net income rose 384.0% to $1.5 million.
  • Note: Revenue increase primarily due to a rise in online marketing services revenue.
