by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday August 14.

Bullish Calls:

  • ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP): "I think you wait until it goes to 4% and you buy more. Don't sell."
  • Washington Prime (NYSE:WPG): "I think you should be in Washington Prime. It yields 5% and is better than Developers Diversified Realty."
  • The Chubb Corporation (NYSE:CB), AIG (NYSE:AIG): "Chubb is a good insurer, but I would recommend AIG. I like that quarter very much."

Bearish Calls:

  • Southwestern Energy (NYSE:SWN): "It is a natural gas company, but doesn't have that yield support. I suspect it could go to $35-$36 before I'd pull the trigger."
  • Developers Diversified Realty (NYSE:DDR): Cramer prefers Washington Prime.
  • EMC (EMC): "I think most of the gain has been made. There might be another point or two, but that is all."
