Cramer's Lightning Round - Apple Is Very Inexpensive (10/21/14)

Apple is inexpensive.

Vectren and Dominion are good utility stocks, but Cramer thinks the sector is somewhat overbought.

Insurers are good, especially Travelers.

Bullish Calls:

  • Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): "If you want a long-term investment, just go for Apple. it is a very inexpensive stock."
  • Vectren (NYSE:VVC), Dominion (NYSE:D): "Vectren is a very hot utility company that is really good. I also like Dominion. Be careful, because utilities are a bit overbought right now."
  • Texas Instruments (NYSE:TXN): "I like Texas Instruments. It bought back a lot of stock and reported a good quarter."
  • The Chubb Corporation (NYSE:CB), Travelers (NYSE:TRV): "I like Chubb, but Travelers really delivered today."
  • Home Depot (NYSE:HD): "Home Depot is right. It is going to $100."

Bearish Call:

  • BlackBerry (BBRY): Cramer prefers Apple.
