Cramer's Lightning Round - Bank of America Is Bottoming (9/13/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday September 13.

Bullish Calls:

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC): "... there could be as much as $30 billion in legal exposure... they are reserved for a lot of that when you take the Buffett money and the sale from the Chinese bank... the litigation risk is not as bad as people think. The earnings risk is different... when people are cutting JPMorgan's earnings estimates, BAC is not going to make a lot of money. They are going to make money, though... It has done nothing, it has been a loser. I think it was bottoming when Warren Buffett bought it, and here, I think it is bottoming."

SXC Health Solutions (SXCI), Express Scripts (NASDAQ:ESRX): " [SXC Health Solutions] is a pharmacy benefit manager. I like the stock. ESRX is the cheapest in the group. ESRX is at its 52 week low... that's kind of crazy."

Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB), Haliburton (NYSE:HAL), Baker Hughes (BHI): "If you are going to own drillers, I like Schlumberger, Haliburton and Baker Hughes."

Clean Energy (NASDAQ:CLNE), Wesport (NASDAQ:WPRT): "Clean Energy I think is fine. I wish it had that bill (Natural Gas Act). They don't have that bill... that would help them. The one I like is Westport, up 3 today... let that come in. At a 52 week high, that has been a huge winner."

Chesapeake Energy (NYSE:CHK): "Yeah, I like CHK very much... it is a winner... it has tremendous assets. I think the stock is going to do quite well... it is moving to become more oil than natural gas... it is a winner, if you ask me."

Juniper (NYSE:JNPR): "I think the stock is down enough. I think it is is a buy."

Bearish calls:

Infinera (NASDAQ:INFN): "If you are going to buy digital optical equipment, why not buy the one that is down 41%, Juniper? "

Ford (NYSE:F): "Remember, we were worried about this strike. They were going to engage in collective bargaining... but you can't own the auto stocks until you see an uptick in the economy, and I don't see it here."

Transocean (NYSE:RIG): "Transocean has too much risk... no, you can own it... while it is a fine company, I don't need to have that headache."
