Bullish Calls:

Abbott Labs (NYSE:ABT): "This is what is a 3.7% yielder. When this breaks $50 to $49 or $48, it will get to's a 14% grower with that kind of yield. That is my kind of stock."

Halliburton (NYSE:HAL): "...this (decline in the stock price) is a function of the OIH ETF. People think oil is going to crash...I wish oil would crash, then the market would go higher, but HAL is close to its 52 week low...I don't expect it to bottom here, I expect it to bottom within 10% from here."

Honeywell (NYSE:HON), Tyco (TYC): "I'm sending you to Honeywell (and away from Flowserve). Tyco is just splitting up...that stock has given up all of its gain...that could be a great play."

Xcel Energy (NYSE:XEL): " is the deal. It yields 4.1%, which means to me it's got safety, it has growth. It is one of my favorite utilities. I should mention it more often."

Bearish Calls:

Brown & Brown Insurance (NYSE:BRO): "This is a really good insurance company. The problem is that it's a financial, so I'm not recommending it."

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC): "We've been frozen in went is not done going down. Every bank stock is going down. They are in bear market mode. I am telling people not to buy any bank, not one single financial."

Flowserve (NYSE:FLS): "...52 week low. if you want to get into that kind of stock, I'm sending you to Honeywell."
