Capital flowing to coal industry

There was an interesting article about the flow of capital towards the coal industry in Utilitpoint's IssueAlert last week.
The article is well worth reading, and a trend to keep an eye on. Coal has long made up a large portion of U.S. electric generating capacity, and though in recent years gas-fired generation (which is much cleaner burning) has dominated the "new-build" plans, coal-fired geenrating plants have begun tio make a modest comeback as the price of natural gas has risen.
