Zeltiq Aesthetics: An Unjustified Sell-Off (Unless The Economy Really Is Tanking)

If you believe, as I do, that the recent macro weakness is a minor correction, not the harbinger of the end of days (as appeared to be the case Wednesday afternoon), then ZELTIQ Aesthetics (NASDAQ:ZLTQ) is a strong buy. The company's CoolSculpting "body contouring" product is extremely economically insensitive; it's not covered by insurance, and average cost moves well into the four figures.

Indeed, it's likely that macro concerns have led to the stock's recent decline.

Indeed, with the exception of Cynosure (NASDAQ:CYNO), the energy-based aesthetics space has underperformed the market of late, and CYNO is down nearly 15% YTD.
