Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Monday, January 8.

Bullish Calls

Analog Devices (NASDAQ:ADI): Their merger with Linear Technology was transformative. Cramer likes the stock.

Seattle Genetics (NASDAQ:SGEN): Biotech stocks are in a bearish phase and Seattle Genetics trades along with the rest of the stocks, although it shouldn't as it has a lot in its pipeline.

MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI): It's one of the few Latin American stocks that Cramer likes. It also has growth.

AbbVie (NYSE:ABBV): Cramer is a fan and thinks AbbVie has more room to run.

Teradyne (NYSE:TER): Book partial profits and let the rest run. It's a great company but Cramer prefers Lam Research (NASDAQ:LRCX).

Antero Midstream Partners (NYSE:AM): It's a good company and Cramer likes Magellan Midstream Partners (NYSE:MMP) as well.

Bearish Calls

Nutrien (NYSE:NTR): When it comes to agriculture, Deere (NYSE:DE) is Cramer's go-to stock.

Platform Specialty Products (NYSE:PAH): Cramer doesn't like the stock. "I think that DowDuPont (NYSE:DWDP), which is being run by Ed Breen, is a much better company. That's the one I recommend in this sector, not Platform."
