Good day, and welcome to the First Quarter 2018 Minerals Technologies' Earnings Call. [Operator Instructions] At this time, I would like to turn the call over to Cindi Buckwalter, Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for Minerals Technologies. Please go ahead, Ms. Buckwalter.

Thanks, Abby. Good morning, everyone, and welcome to our first quarter 2018 earnings conference call. On today's call, Chief Executive Officer, Doug Dietrich will provide an overview of our results, growth strategies and the acquisition of Sivomatic; and Chief Financial Officer, Matt Garth will provide a more detailed review of our financial performance.

I'll start off today by covering the highlights from our first quarter, and then I want to take some time to review the progress we're making against our growth strategies.
