Interactive Brokers - Asia-Pacific Calendar: The Week Ahead

Economic data in the Asia-Pacific region will be mostly dominated by updated reports on inflation, including from India, New Zealand, China and Japan.

Investors will also receive Japan’s trade data for September, Australia’s jobs report, as well as the Bank of Korea’s interest rate decision.

Some firms are also set to release their earnings results, including media company Singapore Press Holdings, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, as well as Chinese supermarket operator Chengdu Hongqi Chain.

Interactive Brokers senior market analyst Steven Levine provides some highlights for what to look for in the Asia-Pacific region in the week beginning October 15.
