Probably the greatest fear that people have is the fear of the unknown. One does not have any control because there is no knowledge of what will happen. People like to have control or, at least, know the range of things which could happen. Once there is some clarity concerning the seriousness of Corvid-19, people will have knowledge of the level of risk and start buying stocks again.

Just a thought or two.

There were 50 million Americans infected with the Swine Flu and 10,000 DEATHS
BEFORE Obama declared it a National Emergency.

What does that tell you about the current HYPE?

PLENTY.

Setting aside all politics, you need to look at the numbers and ratios to understand why people are scared. 10,000/50,000,000. Compare that with 3,000 people dying out of the 88,000 global cases. Granted experts believe that more people than 88K have it. But imagine if 50M people got this virus. There would be close to 1 million deaths!
