The legacy of this president is lack of trust in anything you hear as truth, regardless of source - a page from Putin’s Russia playbook. Sad.

The legacy of the US government and press is identical.
Trust WHO? Dems which spied , bugged and condemned Trump beginning the day he announced his 2016 presidential candidacy.. Get a grip @peanutbutterandjelly

Trump held a "virtual town hall" this evening. A supporter -- an elementary school guidance counselor -- told him she thanked him for his work and prayed for him daily, but she questioned his combative tone at press briefings. She asked him why he acts like a bully, avoids giving direct answers to questions, and instead opts to "speak of past successes and generally ramble." She urged him to let go of these negative attributes.

Trump responded that he is treated worse than Abraham Lincoln.

Not making this up.

One Twitter user remarked, "Lincoln was assassinated, but that's nothing compared to Trump having to answer questions from reporters."

While US busy with virus, here is recent China tech news that could affect the entire world at the rate this affair is developing.

"Samsung Sends 200 Workers To Complete Chip Factory Expansion In China Amid Virus Woes" - www.urdupoint.com/...

This move from Samsung whether it was voluntarily or involuntarily, but it could be China's countermeasure toward recent impending US regulation targeting Huawei.

"China's countermeasure toward ... US regulation targeting Huawei"

O no doubt, China Made in 2025 is very alive and well.

Ain't no stinking US hypocrisy or virus stopping them!
techy,

Well, China surely is trying, but will not succeed, don't you know how terribly its people are unemployed right now? You seem not well informed, still dreaming and hoping for your commie friends.

Apple just send out 20,000 Chinese home, unemployed people are living and sleeping in the street, maybe many pent-up angered Chinese will soon explode.

By the way the only country in the world who is still blindly royal is SK, colonized by China, and Moon, the commie pres is planning to hand out SK to China so it seems, and probably threatened Samsung to send out these 200 workers so that China could steal Samsung IP or gobble up Samsung perhaps.

As we all know very well what is important is Samsung supplies about 46% of semiconductor while micron 19.9%, that is why, plus Samsung is also Biotech company, Samsung is no longer consider the SK company, more like its importance is belong to the world.

So what do you expect from China? Old habits are hard to die, a leotard never changes its spots, the only thing they know is combination of intimidating, threatening, and stealing, etc.

President George W Bush had this to say: “Let us remember how small our differences are in the face of this shared threat. In the final analysis, we are not partisan combatants. We are human beings, equally vulnerable and equally wonderful in the sight of God. We rise or fall together and we are determined to rise.” ... “Let us remember that empathy and simple kindness are essential powerful tools of national recovery. Let’s remember that the suffering we experience as a nation does not fall evenly.”

By contrast, here's Trump: “Oh bye the way, I appreciate the message from former President Bush, but where was he during Impeachment calling for putting partisanship aside.” @foxandfriends He was nowhere to be found in speaking up against the greatest Hoax in American history!"

The worst part? Bush was not even speaking to the unstable narcissist.

No wonder Bush's approval rating hit 92% after 9/11 and held steady at 80–90% four months after the attacks while Trump's approval is only 43.4% and sinking.

@genomegk

Wrong there, the worst part is Trump was right about Bush's preaching

Trump's approval rating means nothing intil we get to Oct-Nov 2020.

No former president can be compared w/ the Trump presidency. Not one. You've got no peg leg to stand on. No president in American history had been fighting a pre inaugural impeachment as well as to date. Dimwits are still at it . Relentless party of wannabee inferiority.

If it had not been the Wuhan, China Virus , it'd have been something/ anything else.

You @genomegk just made almost three paragraphs of worthless spittal.

"(Bloomberg) --

The intelligence community briefed President Donald Trump twice in the eight days before he imposed travel restrictions on China in an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus, said a senior White House official familiar with the briefings.

In a Jan. 23 briefing, Trump was told the virus was poised to spread globally from China and that becoming infected wouldn’t be deadly for most people.

Trump said Sunday night that he was told on Jan. 23 that a virus might be coming but that it wasn’t of much import.

“They said it very matter of factly,” he said during a town hall broadcast on Fox News, adding that the intelligence community would release more information on Monday.

The Jan. 23 session was the first time the intelligence community briefed the president on Covid-19, said the official, who requested anonymity to describe the classified briefings.

The next time intelligence officials spoke to Trump on the topic was Jan. 28, when he received information showing the virus was spreading outside of China but that all deaths remained inside of that country, the official said. Trump was also told at the time that China wasn’t sharing key data about the virus, according to the official.

The White House official said those were the only times Trump was briefed by the intelligence community about the virus during January. It isn’t clear what information the intelligence community said China was withholding, or if Trump was briefed about the incredible strain a major outbreak in the U.S. could place on the health-care system, the economy and Americans’ way of life."

Poor Donald.

Just think.

If this COVID-19 had not struck, Donald would have probably been re-elected.

But because of COVID-19, Donald does not have a snowball's chance in hell of being re-elected.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

But at least when Donald returns to civilian life next January, he can still keep right on tweeting.

"I'll be back. Don't worry! I'll be back in 2024! I'm going to make America great again. MAGA."

Can you have cell phones in Jail?

Just a reminder State of NY still looking into Donald's taxes, his company's books, as well as Cohen's present UN-indited co-conspirator. All still hanging out there for him in civilian world as Deutsche bank hands over transaction and loan records and The Donald's tax preparer is compelled to comply.

Only way to run out those clocks, is to win re-election as you cannot indite a sitting president.

To date Two federal courts have since ruled against Trump fighting against Deutsche bank release of info, and the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments for the case in the spring.

Food for thought !

68,040 Americans dead so far from COVID-19.

And some states want to ease shelter in place restrictions.

How dumb is that?

Like encouraging people to swim in shark infested water.

I'm still sheltering in place with my schnauzer and my wife.

My mother occasionally drops by with her shih-tzu to disinfect my house.

I explained to my mother that she really should be sheltering in place in her own house and not visiting us to disinfect my house.

"If anyone here knew how to clean, I wouldn't have to visit," she said. "Where's the Lysol? Have you gotten rid of the cobwebs in your dining room yet? What do you pay your cleaning lady for? Company? She sure doesn't know how to clean."

'68,040 Americans dead so far from COVID-19.'

What a conspiracy comment! Less than two weeks ago Trump boasted about successful testing and America’s death toll, which has already surpassed the worst estimate Trump mentioned. I digress into satire.

I was curious as to why companies would need federal liability protections if it's safe to back into the water, malls, restaurants or Trump rallies?
t

Trump seems to like Kim Jung Un.

What's not to like?

Kim Jung Un only fed his uncle to a pack of starving dogs.

Maybe his uncle irritated him. Maybe his uncle changed the TV station when they were watching the "I Love Kim Jung Un" show.

Just because Kim Jung Un looks like a villain in a James Bond movie is no reason not to like him.

Big Kim must have his good points.

Maybe he gives money to the ACPCA and to PBS.
