We should do we can to prevent this recession from turning into another great depression.
Use common sense, maintain reasonable social distancing, wear a mask, wash your hands etc.
Models show that those measures would suffice to halt the spread of the virus.
We need to find the strength and courage to move forward and help the economy recover.

We could also put shutdown protesters and people who don't wear masks in a kind of jail or a nursing home for a few months to let them think about what they are doing to others.

Wrong, Adolph. Flatten the curve doesn't mean less people will be infected, it just means the pandemic will last longer. The US never should have closed down at all.
