O
This company continues to innovate. I loved the insight into the DPU, and the philosophy behind it, especially regarding security.

Amazing company and CEO.

Completing the math on Mellanox line revenue guidance here that I could not yesterday during the call because I wasnt paying close enough attention.

The transcript gives enough info to tell us Mellanox lines contributed 13% * 4726b = $615m of the revenue. Then they said it would be down sequentially (because a big chinese sale fell in Q3 instead fo Q4) but did not quantify it, however in answer to first Q Collette did say up 30% YoY. Mellanox's Q4 total revenue a year ago (reported 1/29/20; they were still independent) was $380m. $380m * 130% = $494m

So putting it all together are I think they saying Meallonx line revenue is going to be nearly $500m in Q4, up 30% YoY but down 20% sequentially?

Next need to try to figure out how this $115m sequential drop figures in the overall essentially flat sequential sequential revenue guidance for next Q. We know gaming will be up sequentially, but most other things down ...

Want to stress I'm not concerned about guidance because Q4 has always been seasonally weak. It was down almost 9% sequentially a year ago, for example. So flat to slightly up is actually strong -- *especially* after such a monster quarter! I'm just trying to flesh out the detailed line item numbers here; they actually gave us a lot of the pieces of the puzzle, I think.

"This was a terrific quarter. NVIDIA is firing on all cylinders. And the RTX has reinvented graphics and has made real-time ray tracing the standard of next generation content, creating the best ever reason to upgrade for hundreds of millions of NVIDIA gamers. AI, where software writes software no humans can, is the most powerful technology force of our time and is impacting every industry. NVIDIA AI again swept MLPerf training and now inference as well, extending our leadership in this important new way of doing computing."

Demand for 30xx series is outrageous. This is the first time in 10 years we've had a real generational leap in performance and it looks like the next iterations of the Ti series will be even better. Surprised not to hear a peep about ARM. If the after-hours dip holds into tomorrow I'll be happily filling my position out a little more. Considering trimming QCOM for the extra funds.
