I'm a relatively new investor and everything I own in the fiber sector (I'm long CIEN, INFN and NPTN) loses even when it wins on performance. Usually drops after good quarterly reports due to wish-wash guidance the market does not like. This seems to be the case during the past 12 months from all fiber folks. I'm 'ready to dump all these losers and confine my 5G holdings to chip stocks. The fiber stocks IMHO suck. Any advice on how to find anything decent in the fiber sector would be appreciated.
