Love these monthly updates. I've got about half of your recurring top 20 picks, including EHI and DSL. Just doubled up on DSL ten minutes ago.

Still happily short term "parking money" in FEI bought on a sub $7 dip after reading this summary in mid-September. Thinking BGB in the mid $13's might be a good spot too. Thanks @Stanford Chemist

Does the cefconnect earnings include realized and unrealized cap gains? I could not find the answer on M* site.
Stanford Chemist profile picture
@slsdoug Hi there, no it does not - the earnings only include net investment income. Hence why mainly fixed income funds show in this report.
s
@Stanford Chemist Thanks for the clarification. I was pretty sure the eps was NII (because of the lack of equity funds in the report) but you verified it.

@slsdoug Indeed, that was what I was about to say as well!

EHI and DSL: just initiated starter position based on your analysis. Thanks.

@SleepyInSeattle Thank you for reading! EHI is a fine fund to own, DSL also scores highly on various metrics.
B
DSL has cut its distribution by 30%, how did that make it a top fund?
Stanford Chemist profile picture
@Bobbie B Hi there! Precisely because it has cut its distribution, it now achieves over 100% coverage on a forward basis!
