Fully-vaccinated White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced Sunday that she has COVID with “mild symptoms,” garnering a remarkably passive reception from the press compared to the reportorial fear, trembling, and gnashing of teeth that followed former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s positive COVID test last fall.CNN downplayed the news by finding experts, including the network’s own Dr. Leana Wen, a former president of Planned Parenthood, to explain why “It’s unlikely Psaki could have infected Biden with Covid-19.” Likewise, the Associated Press calmly listed all the precautions Psaki and the Biden team are taking, citing Psaki’s placid explanation that “I am disclosing today’s positive test out of an abundance of transparency.”The non-story — and it should be a non-story, especially considering Psaki’s mild symptoms — hasn’t been treated like a big scare or a big scandal, and rightly so. We can all wish Ms. Psaki to feel better soon without fearmongering and blame-gaming.But why couldn’t the corporate press have had the same, even-keeled reaction when Kayleigh McEnany, press secretary in the Trump White House, tested positive for COVID? History repeats itself, and when it gives us such glaring apples-to-apples comparisons, it’s a reminder of how Biden’s lapdog media don’t even try to hide the 180-degree spin.

NBC national security correspondent Ken Dilanian is the latest to suffer a public breakdown over a popular meme airing grievances against President Joe Biden.On Monday, Dilanian shared on Twitter that he reached out to the U.S. Secret Service about gun dealers printing the phrase “Let’s go Brandon,” a euphemism for “F-ck Joe Biden,” on merchandise, with the labels “F@ck!” “Joe!” and “Biden!” in place of the typical “safe,” “fire,” and “auto” modes.“They had no comment,” Dilanian wrote, engaged in another conspiracy after serving as a purveyor of fake news for NBC over the Russia hoax.
Stock buybacks were considered market manipulation by artificially inflating P/E ratios and were illegal until Reagan changed that in 1983. The build Back Better legislation at least puts a tax on these maneuvers that should still be illegal.

Illinois reporting 77.7% of its Covid deaths last week were vaccinated. 77.7% is an astounding number by itself, but when you consider the Mayo Clinic‘s numbers indicate 54.4% of Illinois’ population is fully vaccinated, it’s easy to see why nobody in corporate media is touching this story. They are beholden to Big Pharma’s agenda, just like most in our government, Big Tech, academia, and the healthcare industry.

A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist National Poll shows only 36% of Democrat voters want Joe Biden, who reportedly received a record 81 million votes just a year ago, to run for reelection in 2024. In contrast, the poll shows 50% of Republican voters want President Trump to run for reelection in 2024.
@PIRockford It would be fun to see Trump, who has never won the popular vote, become a three time loser and I'm not sure he could serve as president from jail. I guess there's no law against it.
