@Namron Damron It does when you have the authority amd knowledge to do it.That's usually true in science related professions not social settings.That's why I really like black and white software engineering not UI issues.
@techy46 in my experience, telling people what to do doesn't work no matter what discipline. Telling people what to do on makes the dictator feel good about doing the right thing.

On Wednesday, a federal judge ordered that a January 6th political prisoner be immediately transferred out of the DC Gulag after an unannounced US Marshals inspection of the facility found detainees were forced to live in “deplorable” conditions and were denied necessary medical care.The defendant, Chris Worrell, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma while incarcerated and has been denied his cancer treatments for months. He will immediately be transferred to another facility outside of DC, where they will release him into home detention “as soon as possible” so he can receive much-needed chemotherapy for his worsening illness.In his decision, Judge Royce Lamberth said the conditions at the facility were so terrible that they were “beyond belief” and added that the “court has ZERO confidence” in Pelosi’s Gulag to provide proper treatment and NOT retaliate against Worrell if he was allowed to remain in their custody.Some of the horrifying conditions that were found in the inspection included: water being shut off for days, clogged toilets that would flood cells with sewage, and an inmate who developed an infection from being pepper-sprayed after not being allowed to wash the chemical off for days.Water would be shut off as a form of punishment for detainees who ‘misbehave,’ often for several days at a time – taking away their ability to wash hands, flush the toilet, or even drink water.Keep in mind, these people who are being subject to this kind of horrifying treatment are AMERICAN CITIZENS – it’s unthinkable.

Of those aged over 67 who died, 7% had more than three co-morbidities, and 18% at least two.According to the CDC, 750,000+ Americans have died with COVID. If we apply Italy’s new rule, the actual death count is only around 22,000 or so. That’s not even a mild flu season.COVID-19 is a very picky killer, and we know exactly who its prey is: the old, the infirm, the malnourished, and the morbidly obese.Protect the vulnerable, and leave the rest of us alone.

New grand jury seated as Trump criminal probe continues. In recent months, a pair of Trump Organization executives testified before the grand jury hearing evidence in the Manhattan case. Under New York law, grand jury witnesses are granted immunity and cannot be charged for conduct they testify about. One of the Trump executives granted immunity to testify before the grand jury is the company’s director of security, Matthew Calamari Jr. The other, senior vice president and controller, Jeffrey McConney, was first subpoenaed to testify in the spring and appeared before the panel again in September.The grand jury that returned the Weisselberg and Trump Organization indictments was empaneled in the spring for a six-month term. The new grand jury will also meet for six months overlapping the start of Alvin Bragg’s tenure as district attorney. Bragg, a Democrat, won Tuesday’s election and will take over in January for Vance, who is retiring.In an interview prior to his election, Bragg told The Associated Press his prior experience handling mortgage fraud, money laundering and other white-collar investigations made him feel “very equipped to follow the facts wherever they go” in the Trump criminal probe.

Have we discussed DeathSantis's new idea to to create a fully-staffed statewide law enforcement office whose sole job would be to crack down on election crimes. Having been one upped last week by Texas Gov. Abbott calling for book burnings, DeSantis responds with having an armed law enforcement political officer to inspect every ballot before being cast. Talking tough, “I guarantee you this: The first person that gets caught, no one is going to want to do it again after that,” said DeSantis at a West Palm Beach event billed as a “press conference”.
