@tewright2012 While that statement had been made, relative to the stock market, no one who has invested in the markets actually believed it.Why did you?There is no proof that the person in the White House influences the stock market. None.Markets are moved by government policies and not personalities. The markets did fine with Obama, fine with Trump, and fine with Biden.Because markets operate independently from the resident of the White House and operate, connected to government policies that might affect the economic stability of the United States or the world.It is beyond moronic to suggest that any particular President is going to be good or bad for the stock market and if you decided that Trump was right, in his assessment of a Biden Presidency, then you missed out on making a lot of money by exiting the markets in fear of a pullback.Now, Biden's policies toward fossil fuels (something that MontanaSteve doesn't grasp) and NOT his actions toward fossil fuels, have been a fantastic opportunity for those of us who invested in energy stocks, not because OF Biden, but because of his policies (stance) relative to oil stocks.While he has not produced legislation unfavorable to energy stocks, he has indicated his beliefs about fossil fuels and those beliefs (known as policy points) have driven the oil stock prices higher.So, thanks, Joe. I appreciate how POLICY is more important than PRESIDENCY in making money in the stock market.PS: His ideas about banks and finance have made me a ton of money over the last 12 months or so, as well as my energy picks have.I love the guy, financially speaking.
