After reading this article, I "comped" MTUM (momentum) and USMV (value) using a line chart on ThinkorSwim. The difference was so minimal I wondered why anyone would take the time to write this article.

Thats the beauty of just buying the S&P (what else do you need?), you get both, never have to choose sides and beat 90% of active traders by doing nothing. If you want income, go buy a bond fund. Investing is so simple but it seems everyone tries so hard to make sub-par returns.
