Summary

  • Atlas Copco is a leader within its industrial segments, consistently churning out a strong financial performance.
  • A significant build up in inventory while currently an advantage may prove a disadvantage in a scenario where the global economy takes a turn for the worse.
  • Having come down substantially but still with a P/E of 20, also on a forward basis with a P/B above 6, Atlas Copco isn't cheap.
  • Current consensus estimates are for an expansion in revenue and bottom-line for the coming years, I'd await the coming quarters while the global macro picture develops as there is no margin of safety to be had today in my opinion.
