These dividend yields for the most part are pathetic. Especially when you know that you can receive 4.5% on a high yield savings account or 4.0% on a Two Year Treasury at this time.

Take a little more risk on large stocks such as VZ, MO, MMM, a BDC such as ARCC, or a solid REIT like STWD and earn a 7.5% to 10.0% yield.

@Risk Advisor Good to look a bit deeper at Justin's data. He also shows the annual dividend increases over time. Our family office focuses on Justin's Dividend Champions and the rate of increase over the last 10 years. We plan to hold and DRIP so long as those dividends keep increasing. Try that with Treasuries.

I own no Treasuries, but many CEFS with higher risk profiles.
