UBS Lowers Year End S&P 500 Target; Merrill Ups Its View

Last week, we posted the year-end S&P 500 price targets of Wall Street strategists based on Bloomberg's weekly survey. We mentioned that there had not been any changes in estimates over the past month even as the markets whipsawed back and forth.

However, there were changes in this week's survey which we highlight below. UBS lowered their year-end price target from 1650 to 1600 and Merrill Lynch upped their 12-month price target from 1560 to 1650.
