Annaly Capital Management (NYSE:NLY): 'A quarter-point rate cut, I think you pick up a buck and a half... over the course of the next six weeks. A 50-basis-point rate cut and I think you see $20 almost instantly … NLY is the single best way to play rate cuts!'
Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY)
NexCen Brands (NEXC): 'I think it's an interesting speculation, but I would rather recommend it on (Speculation) Friday... than today.'
Phillips-Van Heusen (NYSE:PVH)
Synchronoss Technologies (NASDAQ:SNCR): 'I like the people that work there. I'm giving you two thumbs up.'

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): 'I think AAPL is still in good shape. Remember, I said cut the position in half, because we made so money here, but I am sticking with the other half of AAPL.'

Research In Motion (RIMM)
Furmanite Corporation (NYSE:FRM): 'I want to reiterate, the bulk shippers... people are throwing them all away. That's a mistake! I am backing it up on bulk shipping.'

Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE:CL): 'CL had a better end market in Brazil [than PG].'
Diana Shipping (NYSE:DSX): 'People are just panicking on all Dry Bulk shipping... Can I explain that no one's ever made a dime panicking? You've got to take the other side of the panic... You've got to buy, not sell. I don't care if you already own some.'

Bearish calls:

J2 Global Communications (NASDAQ:JCOM): ' I frankly don't understand why this is a good business at all...Don't buy, don't buy, don't buy.'

Synaptics (NASDAQ:SYNA): 'Don't buy, don't buy. I just think it's another one of these technologies, like voice recognition, that I just think are too hard.'
Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG): 'Challenging quarter... I was disappointed. I've always expected that PG could finesse anything. It just shows you how out of control the raw costs are right now … PG's in the penalty box.'
Palm (PALM): 'We do not want to buy PALM. We want to sell it.'
Coach (COH): 'Still not there yet. Gotta go lower. I'm waiting for that stock to go down to $31-32...'
