Six ETF Wishes For 2006

I have six wishes for 2006:

1. I wish ETF sponsors would restrain from pummeling investors with repetitive ETFs.
2. I wish PowerShares and others would take more care in providing meaningful historical index data (more than one month) before issuing new index-linked ETFs.
3. I wish that more ETF sponsors, exchanges and brokerage stock loan departments would do a better job of making sure that retail investors who wish to short ETF shares are able to do so consistently, eliminating the double standard between institutions (aka, “da boyz
