Ctrip.com (NASDAQ:CTRP): May 16, 2012

Ctrip is a travel service provider for hotel accommodations, airline tickets, and packaged tours in China. Ctrip aggregates information on hotels and flights and enables its customers to make hotel and flight bookings.

Ctrip has a market cap of $2.863 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 16, 2012, before market open. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $144.11 million when compared to $116.75 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be 18 cents a share, up from 24 cents a share in the year-ago period. Ctrip is currently trading around $19.91 with a 52-week range of $19.44 to $49.49. The stock has -14.91% price performance for the year 2012.

8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT): May 16, 2012

8x8, Inc. develops and markets telecommunications services for Internet protocol, telephony and video applications, as well as Web-based conferencing and unified communications services, managed hosting and cloud-based computing services.

8x8 has a market cap of $285.10 million and will report its fourth-quarter earnings results on May 16, 2012, after market close. The fourth-quarter revenues are expected to be $23.51 million when compared to $18.18 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter are expected to be 3 cents a share, compared to 3 cents a share in the year-ago period. 8x8 is currently trading around $4.10 with a 52-week range of $2.83 to $5.44. The stock has 29.34% price performance for the year 2012.

Limited Brands (LTD): May 16, 2012

Limited Brands is a specialty retailer of women's intimate and other apparel, beauty and personal care products and accessories.

Limited Brands has a market cap of $14.74 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 16, 2012, after market close. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $2.14 billion when compared to $2.22 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be 41 cents a share, up from 40 cents a share in the year-ago period. Limited Brands is currently trading around $50.27 with a 52-week range of $31.43 to $51.84. The stock has 24.58% price performance for the year 2012.

Advance Auto Parts (NYSE:AAP): May 17, 2012

Advance Auto Parts is a specialty retailer of automotive aftermarket parts, accessories, batteries and maintenance items primarily operating within the U.S. The company operates in two segments: Advance Auto Parts and Autopart International.

Advance Auto Parts has a market cap of $6.62 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 17, 2012, before market open. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $2.00 billion when compared to $1.90 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be $1.79 a share, up from $1.35 a share in the year-ago period. Advance Auto Parts is currently trading around $90.36 with a 52-week range of $49.50 to $93.08. The stock has 29.77% price performance for the year 2012.

Computer Sciences (CSC): May 17, 2012

The company offers an array of services to clients in the commercial and government markets and specializes in applying contemporary practices toward the employment of IT in order to achieve the strategic objectives of its customers.

Computer Sciences has a market cap of $4.220 billion and will report its fourth-quarter earnings results on May 17, 2012, before market open. The fourth-quarter revenues are expected to be $4.10 billion when compared to $4.20 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter are expected to be 20 cents a share, down from $1.09 a share in the year-ago period. Computer Sciences is currently trading around $27.21 with a 52-week range of $22.80 to $45.14. The stock has 14.81% price performance for the year 2012.

Ross Stores (NASDAQ:ROST): May 17, 2012

Ross Stores, along with its subsidiaries, operates two brands of off-price retail apparel and home fashion stores.

Ross Stores has a market cap of $14.144 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 17, 2012, before market open. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $2.33 billion when compared to $2.07 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be 93 cents a share, up from 74 cents a share in the year-ago period. Ross Stores is currently trading around $62.44 with a 52-week range of $33.50 to $64.79. The stock has 31.37% price performance for the year 2012.

Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE:WMT): May 17, 2012

Wal-Mart Stores operates retail stores in various formats around globally. Everyday low prices is the company's pricing philosophy under which it price items at a low price everyday. The company's operates in three business segments: the Walmart U.S. segment, the Walmart International segment, and the Sam's Club segment.

Wal-Mart has a market cap of $199.85 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 17, 2012, before market open. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $110.44 billion when compared to $104.19 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be $1.04 a share, up from 98 cents a share in the year-ago period. Wal-Mart is currently trading around $58.7 with a 52-week range of $48.31 to $62.63. The stock has -1.77% price performance for the year 2012.

Children's Place Retail Stores (NASDAQ:PLCE): May 17, 2012

The Children's Place is a pure-play children's specialty apparel retailer in North America. The Children's Place provides apparel, accessories and shoes for children from newborn to 10 years old. It operates in two segments: the Children's Place U.S. and the Children's Place Canada.

Children's Place has a market cap of $1.149 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 17, 2012, before market open. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $447.55 million when compared to $430.81 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be $1.06 a share, down from $1.10 a share in the year-ago period. Children's Place is currently trading around $46.90 with a 52-week range of $36.96 to $57.55. The stock has -11.71% price performance for the year 2012.

GameStop (NYSE:GME): May 17, 2012

GameStop is a multichannel video game retailer. It sells new and used video game hardware, physical and digital video game software, accessories, as well as personal computer entertainment software and other merchandise.

The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $2.10 billion when compared to $2.28 billion for the same quarter last year. Dollar Tree (NASDAQ:DLTR): May 17, 2012

Dollar Tree is an operator of discount variety stores offering merchandise at the fixed price. Its stores operate under the names of Dollar Tree, Deal$, Dollar Tree Deal$, Dollar Giant and Dollar Bills.

Dollar Tree has a market cap of $11.782 billion and will report its first-quarter earnings results on May 17, 2012, before market open. The first-quarter revenues are expected to be $1.70 billion when compared to $1.55 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be 97 cents a share, up from 82 cents a share in the year-ago period. Dollar Tree is currently trading around $101.87 with a 52-week range of $58.06 to $104.08. The stock has 22.58% price performance for the year 2012.
