Cramer's Lightning Round - Stick With American Capital Agency Through Thick And Thin (10/10/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday October 10.

Bullish Calls:

American Capital Agency (NASDAQ:AGNC): "There are issues involved in these mortgage REITs. They might not do as well in this environment. The dividend could go down a little bit. But you stick with these kinds of stocks through thick and thin. I'm not backing away from it."

Sarepta (NASDAQ:SRPT): "It is highly speculative. It tripled the day it got the good news. It has been coming down ever since. You have to figure out where it will bottom. I believe it will be a partner with a larger company. I prefer to see it in the $20s. That is where I would pull the trigger."

Linn Energy (LINE): "Linn is more reliable and is better (than Calumet Specialty Products Partners)."

Bearish Calls:

Calumet Specialty Products Partners (NASDAQ:CLMT): Cramer prefers Linn Energy.

Alexion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ALXN): "It is good, but there's a big problem. It is a spec. This is a red hot stock that is up a huge amount. There is a correction here. These stocks go down in corrections. I do not think it should be sold, but I will tell you that it will go down in a correction."

Barclays (NYSE:BCS): "It is not best of breed, but it is better than it used to be. I want to own a domestic bank. I don't want exposure to Europe."
