SEC Rule Buy - Cramer's Lightning Round (9/17/08)

by: Joan Wickham

Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Wednesday, September 17.

Bullish Calls:

Clean Energy Fuel (NASDAQ:CLNE) -- “I like this one especially now that the naked short selling in the stock is being halted by the SEC, but let me reiterate that this is speculative, speculative, speculative!"
Pilgrims Pride (NYSE:PPC) -- “This is almost at a 52-week low. I like chicken here and I think this one could go higher, but I like Tyson Foods (NYSE:TSN) better."
Rosetta Resources (NASDAQ:ROSE) -- “The one is inexpensive but it's out of favor. Under $18 I'd be a buyer of this one.”

Bearish Calls:

Arch Coal (ACI) -- “I like Peabody (NYSE:BTU) a little more than Arch. But the coal stocks are cheap right now, and he doesn’t think they’re still worth a look."
Flour (NYSE:FLR) -- “I think this is a great corporation and infrastructure is a great story, but if you want a safe stock, it's Joy Global (JOYG) instead."
Honda (NYSE:HMC) -- “Honda’s a good company, Cramer said, but autos are a tough group to own right now. He recommended trying to buy Honda at its 52-week low of $27. Japan could be down big overnight Wednesday into Thursday.”
