Cramer's Lightning Round - You Can't Be In Tanker Stocks (10/31/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday October 31.

Bullish Calls:

Ethan Allen (NYSE:ETH), Restoration Hardware (NYSE:RH): "I prefer Ethan Allen (to La-Z-Boy). Why not try to get some Restoration Hardware on that IPO? That is where we want to be."

Annaly Capital (NYSE:NLY): "This is tough, because CEO Mike Farrell is no longer at the helm. The people running it now are excellent. Mike passed away, but the team is good. No need to sell it."

Bearish Calls:

Nordic American Tanker (NYSE:NAT): "You can't be in the tanker stocks. There are still too many tankers out there. There is a surfeit of tankers. I was saying if you had to own one tanker, own NAT, but now I don't know why you need to own any tanker."

Research in Motion (RIMM): "No, we are not buying RIMM. We don't have a catalyst. It is declining."

Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO): "I thought Cisco had a great quarter. I thought things were starting to go well. I'm not thinking that way now, because telco spending is so bad. Let's wait until the next quarter."

Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ:CLNE): "It got downgraded. There is not enough of a buildout of natural gas stations. These companies are not getting enough support. They are specs. That is about it."

F-5 (NASDAQ:FFIV): "Bottom fishing in this stock has not worked. I do not want you to own FFIV."

La-Z-Boy (NYSE:LZB): "We are not going to be a buyer of this now."
