I was able to build up a reasonable sum of capital through online poker, but I quit playing at the end of 2011 and focused on investing that money. At the beginning, I “parked” my capital in a diversified equity and bond ETF-portfolio, but that money should be continuously moved to common stock of great businesses, which are undervalued. By now, this transition is completed, but I always keep my eyes open for new investment opportunities that offer even greater value. That’s the reason why I am reading SeekingAlpha and I am eager to share some of my own research with other investors on this platform. My fundamental views on investing are shaped by Benjamin Graham’s principals, but I deviate from his philosophies in some areas where I think it is appropriate for me as an individual investor in today’s markets.
