Carlton Getz is the founder, principal, and managing director of Winter Harbor Advisors, L.L.C., a registered investment advisor. Winter Harbor Advisors oversees concentrated private portfolios with a specific focus on value oriented opportunities and long term growth. In addition, Mr. Getz is the founder and president of Getz & Associates, Incorporated, the parent of Winter Harbor Advisors, which he founded in 1995, and serves on the boards of various charitable and nonprofit organizations overseeing investment policy and implementation. Mr. Getz also serves on the board of Spectrum Engineers, Inc., and is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states. Mr. Getz briefly served as an associate with the JPMorgan Private Bank in New York City (2005), as a summer equities analyst with Wasatch Advisors in Salt Lake City (2004), and as an electrical engineer with Girard Engineering, P.C., in McLean, Virginia (2000-2003). Mr. Getz holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
