David Roda's career in asset management spans more than two decades in affiliation with leading global financial institutions. His professional expertise is focused in the areas of quantitative portfolio management strategies and securities analysis. Prior to founding RAM in 2008, David served for almost four years in Germany as Global Head of Portfolio Management and Quantitative Analysis for Allianz Dresdner Bank's Private & Corporate Client division (PCC). Prior to that post he served 6 years as the Regional Chief Investment Officer in charge of the Americas for Dresdner's PCC division. David has also worked as a senior investment officer with other leading financial institutions. He spent five ...More years with Bankers Trust Company of Florida as Chief Investment Officer for the Southeast United States, and worked as a financial consultant and portfolio manager for Salomon Smith Barney. He was employed at Southeast Bank, NA as the Head of Equity Research, where he oversaw equity research and selection for the Trust Department. He also managed the bank's commingled equity fund. He started his career in 1986 as an equity research analyst with Wachovia Bank. He has earned an MBA from Emory University and earned a BBA in Finance from Loyola University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a current member and former President of the Miami Financial Analyst Society. David, originally from Griffin, Georgia, has lived and worked in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
