Having graduated from University of Toronto specializing in health sciences, my interests lie in discovering novel technologies and approaches that have potential to change conventional science. I consider myself to be a strategic investor with a primary focus in poised equity investments. My research areas include the healthcare and technology sector. Previously, I spent some time working for one of the largest independent global investment managers, Invesco. Here is where I became familiar with mid-cap and small-mid cap names. I plan on following, capitalizing and sharing the investing opportunities that I believe to be compelling with the Seeking Alpha community. In addition, I am registered as a CFA level 2 candidate
I'm a retired Account Manager (sales). Have been investing most of my adult life mostly via mutual funds, but no more. I now manage a portfolio to earn extra income to supplement my pension income. I take long and short positions based on fundamental and technical analysis. I seek dividend income and capital appreciation.,,,don't we all! My approach is mostly conservative but I have made calculated, speculative trades.
I graduated from the University of Toronto with a BComm and am now working on developing a partnering business to help get the word out on disruptive investments. I want my research to provide timely and conclusive investment ideas that intend to deliver attractive yields to investors. Keep updated with me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/DMero15 I enjoy following and capitalizing on investing opportunities primarily in the tech and healthcare industry. Most of my free time is spent conducting research on small-to-mid cap equities using a combination of fundamental data analysis and technical studies to come to conclusive results. I write because I believe in sharing my findings and opinions with those interested so they may come to their own conclusions and in turn spark an intelligent and beneficial discussion.
