I am a private investor. Before that, I was formerly portfolio manager of a systematic multi-strategy hedge fund where I build and use computer models to make investment decisions. Systematic approaches to investing are not as well known before 2008. Many are skeptical about leaving important decisions to machines which they deemed to be black boxes. But not all systematic strategies are black boxes. In fact, most are not. Many systems operate within well-defined rules and boundaries. Both as a professional and personal goal, I look to provide perspectives and knowledge to promote a wider understanding of systematic investing to the general audience.
