My investing style focuses on what I believe is difficult to price, particularly scenarios that are simply not on analysts radar. I pay high attention to insider c suit buying, an activist on board, or a bullish revenue related thesis that is not under managements control (commodity price swings, aggressive customer growth etc).

Frank Grossmann (founder and partner of logical-invest.com)
I am Swiss and living in Zurich. I studied Microtechnics at the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and Business Administration at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. After the studies in 1989 I founded Labocontrol AG. This company was sold to the US company Digital Now Inc. where I continued to work as a chief scientist.
Since 13 years I have my own software company Colour-Science.com which develops algorithms for digital image processing. These algorithms do things like image enhancement, red eye removal or pattern (face) detection. My passion however was always to search for pattern in financial data and then develop and back test rule based investment strategies.
My name is Payman Winborn. Upon graduation from college in 1999 I founded a company that distributed computer hardware. Although this was a profitable business, I did not want to focus all my resources on one avenue of success, so I looked to diversify my interests. I explored real estate and finance as possible alternative businesses and discovered an interest and passion in futures trading. This is what I ultimately choose as a second source of income.
Initially, I imagined that day trading would be the ideal profession: no customers or staff, no inventory or rent and the possibility of unlimited income. And, more importantly, it presented me with the opportunity to work anywhere....from the privacy of my home or from the balcony of a hotel room overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Unfortunately, I knew little about the pitfalls of day trading for a living. To begin with, I spent countless hours reading books, studying charts and conducting research in an effort to become a profitable trader. Six years later, and after the loss of several hundred thousand dollars, my efforts finally resulted in the development of a highly profitable strategy.
This strategy is primarily based on technical analysis and was developed for ES E-Mini S&P 500 Futures contracts from CME Group but it also works in many other financial instruments such as Stocks (NYSE), Bonds, Currencies(Forex Spot), Commodities (Gold and Crude Oil From CME GROUP,Globex,NYMEX, CBOT,Brent Crud Oil From ICE Global Markets), Options, Global Indices and CFD’s with similar high accuracy.
In retrospect, I understand that the biggest barrier to my success was the fact that I tried to learn everything by myself. An experienced mentor could have helped me avoid that painful learning experience....and saved me a significant amount of money as well as many years of frustration.
Today I am an active, and profitable, trader. As a token of appreciation for my success, I now share my tools and experience with other day traders. I believe that my knowledge and skill can help others become successful traders and, in the summer of 2010, I began to publish my realtime market signals and daily results online in order to demonstrate the accuracy of my trading strategy.
Alex Lega is Head of Investment at an independent financial company
Mr Lega was formerly working for a large Investment Bank in London where he was advising institutional clients on complex structured products strategies and various investment opportunities. In 2006, realizing how Europe would reach a dead end sooner rather than later, Mr Lega decided to bet on Asia and left the UK for the "tiny" (yet vibrant) city state of Singapore. Over the past 5 years, he has developed a strong network in Asia allowing him to gain in-depth knowledge of the culture and economics of the region.
Since, Mr Lega has been known for pragmatic and accurate warnings on the UK and the US economies, his bullishness on Asia and for calling the rise of Commodity prices, Asian Equities, Real Estate and Intellectual Property.
I trade all kinds of situations, but love to get as many factors on my side as possible for a trade, including others possibly being out of position or incorrectly interpreting a situation, favorable macro drivers, favorably shifting fundamentals, and being able to hold winning trades longer than others seem capable of doing.
At this point in my short financial career, I've already developed a lot of confidence in my trading process.
