Joseph Sabbagh leads JVS Capital Management and contributes a wealth of market knowledge and investment management skills having held senior positions as Managing Director at Nine Thirty Capital; a multifamily office, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and as a Senior Vice President at UBS. Joseph also served as Vice President for over 10 years at Goldman Sachs where he was initially recruited to the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division in 1992 in the Futures, Options and Derivative Products group and traded a broad range of markets and complex products. In 1997, he joined the Goldman Sachs - Investment Management Division where he developed and managed a billion dollar asset base comprised of some of the wealthiest and most prominent families in the US and internationally.Joseph began his career as an independent trader and member of the Commodity Exchanges in New York which later led him to advance his training at Salomon Inc.,Drexel Burnham Lambert and in the founding of his own firm. As a trader, he was frequently quoted in the FX section of The Wall Street Journal and was invited regularly as a commentator on CNBC News network. Joseph has recently authored several articles on macro economic and financial related topics for market research websites. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
