Larry House is a retired educator and now works full time for Big Brothers Big Sisters, a child mentoring organization. He has been involved with investing for over 30 years and was an account executive with an investment firm in the 1970s. He vividly remembers the oil embargo and hyper inflation of the 1970s, 1980s and credit card interest rates over 20%. He presently manages a modest IRA account, from which he is now old enough to withdraw funds without penalty! He must also put one more offspring through college in a few years.
I'm just a small time investor trying to make a buck or two. I'm in sales and looking to retire in the next five years. Divorce set me back financially but getting in better financial shape now. Recently been investing some in the bio pharmaceutical field but just a small amount. To risky to invest much. Like dividend stocks and am building a portfolio of those type of stocks. It's slow going and the hurried I go the behinder I get!!!
