I have worked in an executive financial capacity (CFO) for more than 30 years. In 2005, I became a serious student of the market to gain a better understanding of successful investing/trading. I began my blog, The Perplexed Investor, to provide an honest narrative of my process. My blog and my posts are intended to have heuristic (and perhaps some entertainment or schandenfreudic) value and should never to be (mis)construed as having the intent of providing readers with investment/trading advice. I put my blog on permanent hiatus, back in 2011 to get some perspective and to reflect on that experience as well as concentrate on some needful things in my life. I'm now back to thinking and writing about the market. My goal for readers is not to provide advice, but information that they can leverage for their investment/trading style.
