I am a recruiter working in one of the largest listed companies in the robotic sector, I have been investing in the last 3 years in the Italian, Polish and US Stock Market. I am passionate about behavioral economics and fascinated by how psychology can be applied to the stock market. I am a believer in Munger and Buffett investing discipline, at a stock picking level (buy great companies at a reasonable price) and at a philosophical level (have the self-discipline to buy only what you understand and not what it's hot). In the last year, I also started a project, called Fin-Ed, to help people learning the basics of investing. INVESTING GOALS Whenever I can, I try to think like a business owner and buy great businesses that I understand in order to keep them as long as I like (usually a lot), but I am open to other strategies (both in stock picking or asset allocation) as long as they are within my understanding and risk tolerance. I am studying hard to learn the craft of investing, and part my education is improving my analytical skills and my decision-making process in choosing stocks. Being an SA contributor will help me out improving, and I want to give you good ideas and insight into the process as well. INVESTING STYLE At the moment I don't have a strong area of expertise, but I like to invest in simple businesses where I can understand the business model and other qualitative aspects (management, product, etc.). I am looking for revenue and earnings growth at a reasonable price, and the bigger the margins and the lower the CapEx the better. I especially like software "sticky" businesses, that require few resources to be produced and maintained but are difficult to be substituted once they are implemented.
