Ok, Crocs (CROX) lowered forecast to 31-33 cents on $273-$275M from 40 cents on $280M. But does that warrant a 35% plunge in afterhours?

    • Michael Bryant: I think it's a buying opportunity.

    • User 714683: ST only, Crocs are hideous. They have other shoe lines, yes, but they're equally as bad.
      10/17/11
    • talbano: DJ- i agree but their flip flops are nice and normal & big with little kids - summer though
      10/17/11
    • Michael Bryant: Someone said they are popular in hospitals.
      10/17/11
    • talbano: I could see that, easy to clean. I was surprised how comfy my sandals are & I have an issue w/my right leg due to a brain tumor so Im picky.
      10/17/11
    • John Rayhall: I bought some at 16.90 for a trade. I would NEVER wear them lol Crox are for kids ( I guess).
      10/18/11
    • Michael Bryant: I know a few adults who were them.
      10/18/11
    • talbano: john mine are like regular sandals not the freaky ones
      10/18/11
    • John Rayhall: Lol not the freaky ones they prob look good on you but not on most adults.
      10/18/11
    • talbano: John Thanks, They really are normal looking - slides with a strap
      10/18/11
    • talbano: Here's a pic similar to mine http://bit.ly/nZziwK
      10/18/11
    • John Rayhall: Not too bad not too bad lol ;) :)
      10/18/11
    • Michael Bryant: tal: Wow, my mom would love those. And I'm sure they look good on you, too.
      10/18/11
    • talbano: See they are not al fugly - NOt sure I love being compare to your Mom MB but whatever - They weight like 4 ozs and are easy to slip on
      10/18/11
    • John Rayhall: You can wear the Crocs I'll stick to my Nike's :) I once saw a guys wearing purple Crocs at the gym those were fugly!
      10/18/11
    • talbano: I agree - Guys should not wear crox but I just wanted to show u they have expanded beyond the ugly original ones
      10/18/11
    • Michael Bryant: I used to invest in Crocs (CROX). May buy them again.

    • talbano: wait till they hold 15
      10/18/11
    • talbano: john those are ugly
      10/18/11
    • John Rayhall: Ok they didn't bounce that was as ugly day as I have seen for a stock lol. Still think it will make it's way back to the high teens.
      10/18/11
    • John Rayhall: GS can miss by .68 and go straight up Rev down a Billion but if CROX cuts Rev by 5-7 Million the stock gets slaughtered what a day lol :)
      10/18/11
    • John Rayhall: Ok guys what do we think of the 11% move in CROX today? Is it on the way back up?
      10/24/11
    • talbano: john - I think it will they report later this week - I could also see someone buy them
      10/24/11
    • John Rayhall: I think they report the 27th but that may just be another excuse to crush the stock. Who would buy them? In the green now at least whew! lol
      10/24/11
    • Michael Bryant: My guess would be speculators and option trader are betting on its Oct 27th earnings. My guess: buy, earnings estimates too low.
      10/24/11
    • talbano: DECK could VFC could - some people really do like their stuff
      10/24/11
    • John Rayhall: Well they came out and said earnings would be bad. The stock would only move if their guidance was good right?
      10/24/11
    • John Rayhall: You could wear an UGG on one foot and a CROX on the other! So basically I'll just hold it's 200 shares let it ride!!!!!!!!!! Ha
      10/24/11
    • talbano: john - I would unless we roll
      10/24/11
    • Michael Bryant: UGGs are expensive. Crocs are cheap. My guess, analyst downgraded earnings to a point they were absurdly low. And stock moves on speculation
      10/24/11
    • talbano: i watch every CI Girl walk into to my daughter's in their new UGGS they are expensive but have huge presence in 13-30 age
      10/24/11
    • John Rayhall: CROX are cheap for a reaosn bc they're ugly! lol. I've seen a lot of women even in their 30s and 40s wearing UGGS
      10/24/11
    • John Rayhall: *reason
      10/24/11
    • talbano: Thing is a mother will spend 200 on boots for her daughter and go without
      10/24/11
    • Michael Bryant: Well, I'm buying my mom Uggs. No, I am not rich............yet. LOL
      10/24/11
    • talbano: MB- Your a good boy- the ones with the buttons are cool and make sure you get the spray to put on them- Protects great
      10/24/11
    • talbano: We have about 6 -8 pairs of Uggs in our house my daughter and I share them - We also have their slippers -
      10/24/11
    • talbano: COH is pushing discounts hard -FYI- they normally once a qtr offer preferred customers a discount - I just had expire and got another today
      10/24/11
    • talbano: COH has been calling too-
      10/24/11
    • Michael Bryant: Tal: COH may be having trouble with sales. Just a guess. And what spray and one with buttons? You have a link?
      10/24/11
    • talbano: these ugg boots are nice i have them http://bit.ly/sE109V
      10/24/11
    • talbano: here is the spray kit http://amzn.to/shouqs
      10/24/11
    • talbano: not sure what style you were going to buy her
      10/24/11
    • Michael Bryant: Tal: Thanks. I'm going to take her shopping and she'll pick the style. But nice to have suggestions. How long do they last?
      10/24/11
    • talbano: if sprayed forever we have pairs that were bought 3-4 years ago
      10/24/11
    • Michael Bryant: Tal: If it lasts 5-10 years, money well worth it. My Nike sneakers last maybe a year and cost $100.
      10/24/11
    • talbano: MB- They are great and the traditional styles fold down so they are flexible in design and wear like iron. Happy shopping:)
      10/24/11
    • John Rayhall: Ok guys I am seeing seeing CROX a little over 17 after hours so I guess they survived earnings.
      10/27/11
    • Michael Bryant: Yup, earnings beat by a penny and revenues also beat by about $650,000. http://bit.ly/sNpETy
      10/27/11
    • talbano: John- I think they will go higher - The reaction to their warning was way overdone IMO compared to their report
      10/28/11
    • John Rayhall: Ya I think you're right.
      10/28/11
    • talbano: I think funds that are looking to buy stocks that haven't run will push this higher - you still holding?
      10/28/11
    • talbano: I took profits on my original buy and legged back in on pull backs this morning after the earnings
      10/28/11
    • John Rayhall: I sold mine as well but I might get back in we shall see.
      10/28/11
    • talbano: I am sure you will have a chance - I am just buying it on small pullbacks- I kept 100 shares through earnings & since it didn't blow up
      10/28/11
    • talbano: I just think it will go higher - who knows :)
      10/28/11
    • John Rayhall: Prob will people over react and sell like crazy this always happens wouldn't be shocked to see it over 20 soon.
      10/28/11
    • John Rayhall: BTW how about DECK?!?!??!?!?! 117! We should have been in it! Lol
      10/28/11
    • talbano: Yeah I have played DECK before - It can go either way I won once and lost once - Sometimes they pop go back sometimes they run &seen
      10/28/11
    • talbano: seen them pullback completely - I have learned they are a buy into earn in fall and a sell in spring.
      10/28/11
    • John Rayhall: I played it once in the 80s and should have held. UAA, DECK, LULU they have wild swings but they always go back up when they sell off.
