I graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Later on I graduated with honors with an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. I've been a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) for the state of Pennsylvania since 2012. Previous professional work experience includes working for the nuclear power industry as an engineer and as a former writer for The Motley Fool. I currently support the federal government as a professional engineer. As an experienced investor for over a decade, I try to show that investing is not only for the pros. I believe investors should look at the big picture in their investments and try to keep things simple by following 3 main goals: 1) Know what you are investing in well-beyond the ticker symbol or company name. 2) Never put all your eggs in one basket no matter how good you think the investment is. 3) Never lose on any investment ever by maximizing money management, dollar cost averaging, and by not being too greedy.
