Holding a masters degree in sociology (with main emphasis on organizational and economic sociology) and history, I might sometimes look at the markets not according to economic theory but rather from an sociology or psychological angle. In my constant search for undervalued, high quality companies with a competitive advantage (so called moats), I am currently focused on healthcare and retail, but this might change depending on how market sectors develop and where we can find the best bargains. Although I can’t spend as much time reading every day as Warren Buffett, I also believe reading is key for staying ahead.
