I graduated from the University of Washington in Business Administration with an Accounting Major. In the early 1970’s, I was employed by the brokerage company Kidder Peabody & Co. (a subsidiary of General Electric Co. at that time). I became a Certified Public Accountant and worked as a state examiner on the financial audit team of the Washington State Auditor’s Office. In 1978, I formed my own CPA firm and later became the managing principal of a regional CPA firm. My area of practice was tax preparation, tax planning, investment planning, financial and life planning. I also audited small public companies and brokers. For the last 3 1/2 years I have been the president and CEO of a small oil exploration company with leases and operations in Eastern Kansas. I have been an investor for over 50 years and have invested in just about every type of financial investment: partnerships, stocks, options, ETF's, mutual funds, closed end funds, commodities and fixed income investments of all types. The only things I have not invested in are Forex and derivative contracts.

The stock market is an incredibly interesting and dynamic puzzle that continues to draw me in like a game of chess where every few moves your opponent changes and parts of the board are obscured.
The investment models I design are typically used by family offices, hedge funds, brokerages and single investors. If you are interested in developing a certain model and want to throw a few ideas around, you are most welcome to contact me without feeling pressure or obligation.
My other passion is volunteering with the deaf. My wife and I moved to Malawi Africa from 2014 to 2016 where we learned Malawi Sign Language.
