TSMC (NYSE:TSM) has a lead on rival chip foundries in commercializing 28nm manufacturing technology, and it looks like the same could be true for 20nm technology. TSMC is currently working with ARM (NASDAQ:ARMH) to offer the latter's high-end Cortex A15 processor core at 20nm, with the goal of achieving commercial production by Q4 2012.
