Corn hangs in there despite the USDA upping its production forecast to 10.7B bushels from an estimate of 10.6B a month ago. Helping was an average yield of 122.3 bushels/acre against consensus 122.1. After a sizable early drop, the March 2013 contract is ahead by a penny at $7.40/bushel. (earlier)
