A U.K. parliamentary committee confirms that Rebekah Brooks, the most senior British newspaper exec at News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWS), will appear on Tuesday next week before a hearing into phone hacking. Rupert Murdoch said he couldn't attend but son James offered to do so at a later date.
