Software services provider HCL Technologies is the front-runner to bag a multi-million dollar contract from Walt Disney, media reports claimed. The deal is worth USD 800 million, spread over 12 years.
The Walt Disney contract is for application development, managed testing and digitisation, and could be extended to infrastructure services as well.
However, when contacted, HCL Tech said it couldn't comment on market speculation.
Another section of the media on Tuesday had claimed that HCL Tech has already signed a USD 200 million IT outsourcing deal with Disney.
HCL Tech shares rose on the deal talk and at 13:00 hrs were up 3.2% at Rs 487 on NSE.
