Nothing I write should be considered investment advice.  Only you can decide if any specific financial asset, security, allocation, opinion, idea, etc. is best for your financial portfolio.

I am very excited to announce that the eBook version of my second book, Options Strategies Every Investor Should Know, has been published and is available on Amazon.com. There is a free preview on the book's Amazon.com page (linked above). The paperback version of the book will be available in the coming weeks.

Here is a description of the book:

Options Strategies Every Investor Should Know is a no-nonsense look at options strategies that produce income, provide protection, and allow for capital appreciation.

The book opens with an introduction to important options terminology that will help readers better understand the four strategies presented in later chapters. Next follows a series of questions designed to test a reader's understanding of the options terms. The remainder of the book presents four actionable options strategies, in each case explaining how to construct the options position, providing a real world example, and discussing risks and tax considerations associated therewith.

In addition to presenting four useful options strategies every investor should know, this book challenges the stereotype of options as being only a risky and speculative venture by focusing on sensible ways to enhance income, reduce risk, and capture capital appreciation.
