If you have children and live in or are visiting the Ontario area, you owe it to yourself to take them to the Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park at 800 North Archibald Ave, in Ontario. With free admission, the park provides the cheapest family entertainment in all of Ontario. However, the park does not feel like merely a cheap diversion because it has something to engage and entertain everyone in the family.

The park is near the Ontario Convention Center and the Ontario Mills Mall, so if there are other adults in your party who do not want to spend the day at the park, there is plenty for them to do in the area, as well. However, after seeing the scenic 150-acre park, everyone will want to spend the day enjoying the grounds, waterpark, swimming pool, picnic area, and scenery.

There are picnic areas to enjoy lunch together, fishing, playgrounds, a water park, and a giant swimming pool. The play areas are designed to be age-appropriate so little kids can enjoy their own park, but bigger kids will not be bored.

As noted, the park itself is free. However, there is a charge of $10 per car on holidays and $7 on weekends for parking. This minimal fee is worth it, though, if you are going to bring the whole family for a day of otherwise free fun. For parents, this really is the cheapest way to provide fun, wholesome entertainment for the whole family.

One word about parking your car at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park: Because the parking area is not monitored, it is best to lock your car and take all valuables with you. As with any public parking area, break-ins can happen, and while they are rare, they can happen. Usually your car insurance policy will cover any personal property inside your vehicle, but it is always good to check with your agent about your current car insurance policy before you travel or even when you will be leaving your car parked in a public area.

Once you’ve parked your car and paid your parking fee, the day’s fun activities can begin. The kids will never be bored, as they can move from one activity to the next. By lunch, they may be so tired that they actually ask to lie down on the picnic blanket to take a little nap before continuing on to the water park. And if anyone does complain of boredom, you can always challenge them to say “Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park” three times really fast.

If you are looking for the cheapest family entertainment in Ontario, then look no further than Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park.
