I Bought 125 Shares Of XPEV

Summary
- I paid $5,847.50 for 125 shares of XPEV.
- XPEV is a totally speculative investment, not a value investment.
- XPEV is a $32B market cap vs $600B for TSLA.so.
This is one of those speculative investments I occasionally throw dice on. I have no illusions of this being like the $15k I committed to LMT today. I am betting that XPEV will become a major player in an emerging EV market, riding momentum set by TSLA.
I bought 125 shares as headlined. I am prepared to put in some more, depending on how things go. And they can go wildly. But I will be looking at deliveries and market share, especially where.
China alone is a great market. A green field really, unencumbered by legacy combustion engine brand, aside from being in supply chains for existing international car companies. Chinese companies stand to do well here. XPENG seems a good bet. I might go into NIO and LI. I am not an expert, a bit impulsive. I simply liked the look of XPENG vehicles, with their kinda copying of TSLA. And I am aware of IP issues.
Let's see. Any thoughts, ideas, or critique is appreciated. I'm hoping to catch something special here. I'd love to have a fast 5x - 10x bagger...as opposed to my usual 12% - 16% CAGR on value investments bought at deep value.
:)
All the best!
